Cast A: April 15-17 / Cast B: April 22-24*When a man is accused of abducting half a dozen cats, it's a simple open-and-shut case, even for a jury that's filled with oddballs like a dim-witted PR flack, a bickering couple, and a creep obsessed with french fries. After all, every scrap of evidence indicts the accused. (I mean so clearly. The man is very, very guilty of stealing cats. Case closed.) And yet, Juror #8, a wannabe lawyer, believes that the "Cat Burglar" is innocent. Will he be able to sway the other jury members? Or will they side with Juror #3, the only sane one in the room? A hilarious parody of 12 Angry Men.

Almost, Maine - A Staged Reading!
Thursday, December 10th at 5pm
Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream. |

The Rimers of Eldritch, A Staged Reading!
Wednesday, September 23rd at 3:00PM
In the fictional very small rural town of Eldritch Iowa, a man has been murdered. The mystery is, who he is, who murdered him and what were the circumstances? And to solve it, Wilson looks at the outsides and insides of his tiny, Middle Western town. He looks at a middle-aging woman who falls in love with the young man who comes to work in her café. He looks at a coarse, nasty woman mistreating her senile mother, who is obsessed with visions of Eldritch being evil and headed for blood-spilling. He looks at a tender relationship between a young man and a dreamy, crippled girl. But Wilson sees far more than this. He is grasping the very fabric of small town America, with its catchword morality and its capability for the vicious. He senses the rhythm of its life and the cruelty it can impose. |
