Sanderson High School Theatre Boosters
The Sanderson High School Theatre Booster Organization is the primary financial resource for the Sanderson Theatre Ensemble. Our memberships and company contributions directly support our theatre teacher, Mr. Parks, and benefit all students enrolled in theatre classes and those involved in theatrical productions at SHS. The organization offers assistance in fundraising and volunteer support for all productions and related activities of the Sanderson Theatre Ensemble.

***HELP WANTED***
Apparel Committee – Alicia Andino, Senior VP. Responsible for keeping our inventory of ITS letter sweaters, helping ITS members determine their correct sweater size and ordering additional sizes as needed. Have ITS letter Sweaters available at Sandersonys for new ITS inductees and current members to try on for size. Assists Alicia with coordinating pick-up of t- shirts and organizing for delivery to students prior to mainstage shows. Concessions Committee – Angela Stahl, Committee Chair. Committee members - Help receive donated concession stand items for shows, prep snack packs, help work the concession stand and close down concession stand after shows. Costumes - Jamye Donovan. Responsibilities include assisting the costume department to find pieces at area thrift stores, hand sewing as needed, altering, heming. Education/Outreach/Publicity – OPEN Committee Chair. Responsible for working with Mr. Parks to promote Sanderson’s theatre program both within Sanderson and the outside community, including Middle Schools and Charter Schools. Submit updates to Sanderson PTO newsletter. Help publicize our main stage shows and other events by listing with WRAL, News & Observer, etc. Flower/Celebration Stars Committee – Jill Wiencek- Committee Chair - Responsible for picking up bulk flowers, making flower bouquets and selling. Set up celebration stars and show volunteers how to sell stars. Fundraising/Marketing & Events – Jill Wiencek, VP of Fundraising. Responsible for coordinating STE restaurant nights, (City BBQ, Chipotle, Duck Donuts, etc). Help with cupcake sales, butter braid sales, and corporate ad sales. Set up VIC card with Harris Teeter and similar programs with other grocery stores. Program Designers - Christy Martin & Anita Normanly. Responsibilities include working with Program Managers to create ads, organize, and proof programs with the goal of sending programs to printers in a timely manner. Scholarship Committee - Stefanie Piner. In charge of the scholarship process including distribution and collection of applications , distributing peer reviews, and working with judges.
